Why Scans Fail (And Why It Matters)
I’ve seen a lot of publishers get stuck in a "Site Down or
Unavailable" loop. Most of the time, it’s not because the site
is actually down—it’s because the server is blocking the
Mediapartners-Google crawler. Our scan simulates
this fetch so you can see if your firewall is being too
aggressive. If I can't read your HTML, Google definitely can’t.
The "Human Reviewer" Factor
Everyone wants to automate everything, but AdSense still uses
actual human beings for final approvals. These reviewers are
usually tired and working through a long queue. If they have to
hunt for your "About" page or if your "Contact" form doesn't
work, they’re going to hit the "Reject" button and move on. We
flag these "Trust Signals" not because they’re technical SEO
requirements, but because they’re accountability
requirements.
The Truth About "Thin Content"
"Thin Content" is the ultimate catch-all rejection reason.
In my experience, it usually means one of two things: either
you literally don't have enough words on the page (I recommend
at least 400+ for anything you want to monetize), or your
content has no original utility. If you’re just wrapping a tool
with 50 words of "Welcome to my site," you’re going to get
flagged. You need to provide enough context so a human can see
the value behind the code.
